To begin, let me just say that my little sister will kill me if she ever reads this essay. Not to say that my sister doesn’t like me --quite the contrary, we get along great – but I highly doubt she’ll appreciate this article. And since I consider her representative high school student, I don’t think I’ll be making many new high school friends with this article.

I think that all public and private high school students should wear uniforms to school.

Many states and cities have already implemented school uniform regulations in their schools. In cities such as Baltimore, Cincinnati, Dayton, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami, Memphis, Milwaukee, Nashville, New Orleans, Phoenix, Seattle and St. Louis, mandatory uniform restrictions have been put into practice. With such large cities already using these restrictions for their students, obviously somebody else feels the same way I do.
I have attended a high school with dress code regulations, and I have attended a high school with uniforms. Consequently, I feel that I can comment about the necessity of uniforms in public and private schools.
