If good weather bodes good fortune, then mother nature certainly blessed Jennifer Scott and Jeffrey Bohnsack at their rooftop wedding in Washington, D.C. For the mid-afternoon ceremony on New Years Eve day, the couple and their 30 guests enjoyed sunny skies and 60-degree temperatures. Jennifer and Jeffrey exchanged vows atop the Hay-Adams hotel, combining their momentous occasion with a magnificent view of the White House.
Mutual friends introduced the couple. "I thought Jennifer was gorgeous at first sight, but more importantly, she has character and an interesting personality that I knew I would want more of!" Jeff says. His feelings were reciprocated. "I was instantly attracted to all 6-foot-3 of him!" says Jennifer. "There was definitely chemistry between us."
After dating a year, Jeff accepted a promotion with General Motors Acceptance Corporation, and the couple moved from Memphis, Tenn., to Bethesda. Jennifer works as an account manager and is in charge of the east coast region for Ericson Group, Inc. After living in Maryland for a month, Jeff proposed to Jennifer in the privacy of their home. She happily accepted, and they began planning the wedding.
